Tumble weeds, man. They'll move in when you least expect them.

No Excuses // Holy shnikes! Life has been weird. But the explanation of the weird will have to wait until next week. But it kind of explains the tumble weeds.

Squishy // The other day, someone asked how I was and my response was "squishy". I feel squishy. Needless to say, they looked at me like I had lost my damn mind and back away slowly.

But seriously. I haven't run in 6 weeks. SIX WEEKS. And boy am I feeling it. We had to do an 800 meter run the other night at Cross Fit and I wanted to die halfway through. Granted, we were running it at a 8 minute mile pace, but still. I can tell I'm losing some a lot of the ground I've made over the last year and need to get back at it.

So, starting this week it's back to getting in some good workouts, logging some miles, following my intermittent fasting plan and tracking the 'ole macros. Good times!

Cross Fit // I totally get it now. I finally understand why people are so obnoxious about Cross Fit. I HATE it when I'm doing the WOD, but LOVE the feeling of accomplishment when I am done. Although, I have decided that having access to the WOD the morning of is a bad idea. Like this past Friday. I fully intended to go to the class (session, I have no idea what they are called) but then saw the WOD, giggled to myself and said "Nope!".
