It's Heeeeeeere // Every year it happens. We all know it's coming and yet all we do is complain about how it is too soon, we aren't ready and how much we hate it. I'm talking about winter, folks. It's officially arrived and it isn't leaving until spring. I've come to a level of acceptance quicker than I normally do which is odd. Oh well.

Pole Fitness // Last week a couple of friends of mine and I took a pole fitness class, to not only have a bit of a girls night out but also to try something new. I wasn't very good at it but I LOVED IT. I had so much fun learning how to do different moves and actually being able to do them. Even though my upper body and core strength is pretty bad and I need to work on some flexibility, I am absolutely going back.

MILEstones // I love to run. Until this past week, all of my miles have been logged outside. My lack of coordination doesn't exactly make for an easy time on the treadmill, especially when my pace/gait is all over the place. This week, however, I stepped on the treadmill at the gym and ran my first 5k distance......ever. And it was amazing. Of course, my first thought when I was done was "I can't WAIT to tell D" (running a 5k was one of the goals we were working on) but after that, I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. It may seem like a small thing, but at that moment I felt like I could do anything.
