Tid Bits: Evolution

Viva Las Vegas // It's hard to believe that I've been back from my vacation for over a week now. I had a fabulous time. It was such a great escape from work, home, life. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat to explore the city further and maybe take a day trip or two to the surrounding areas.

Something's Missing // You may (or may not) have noticed a pretty noticeable absence of photos. I've kind of bailed on my 365 project. I haven't totally quit. It's been hard to completely give it up. It's just that all the photos are trapped on my phone and I am so behind on uploading them that it doesn't seem worth it at this point.

Pesce-wha?! // While on vacation in Vegas, I had a few days of feeling completely "off". I was tired, didn't feel well....kind of like those first few days after the flu where you want to eat something but nothing sounds good and you just feel kind of 'eh'. It was weird......I ate like I normally do at home, all the fruits and veggies I could get my hands on, drinking lots of water but nothing helped. Then at lunch with one of my friends I had some salmon (i.e. extra protein and fat) and it made a world of difference. It was weird and hard to rationalize. But after discussing it with D (who was exceptionally giddy at even the thought of me adding fish back into my diet) and doing some research on my own, it's time to make some changes to the 'ole diet. So, for now fish and seafood are back in. It's been a weird adjustment and a whole new world of cooking but so far I've been feeling better which at this point is what matters. Sorry little fishies.
