Summer Reads

There are few things I enjoy more than wondering around a bookstore and walking out of a book store with a new book or four, even better! There is something about getting lost in the stories of others. And don't even get me started on my love of searching shopping for books on Amazon to fill my Kindle.

I suppose there are worse addictions to have.

But for the rest of the summer, I'm instituting another book buying moratorium. I've done this multiple times in the past but it's only lasted a week or two.

This time I mean it.

I swear.

NO more new or used books until I read down the GIANT tower of books-to-read in my bedroom. Unless of course I don't currently own the book selection by one of the many book clubs I follow.

Earlier this week I dug through the pile and pulled out some of the books for my summer reading. It's kind of a hodge-podge of titles, themes and topics but I'm hoping that will keep me relatively interested in actually finishing the books I've picked to read this summer.

Smoke & Bones by Laini Taylor // The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie // Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes by Maria Konnikova // Looking For Alaska by John Green // Paper Towns by John Green // The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell // Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

What is on your reading list for the summer?
